how to set certain pages to https connection?

is there a way to set join page and/or other specific pages with https connection?

does anyone make your site https ? secure connection?

First you need to purchase an SSL Certificate, and those start at about $400/year.  Is it really worth it, just for a join page?

I wanted to know technically how to set some pages(not just join page but for payment related pages in the future) into HTTPS connection.

I couldn't see any instructions about this in this site.

depending on the sites contents, some people will feel comfortable to have a secure connection.

I use godaddy for SSL certs. a lot cheaper.

and other hosting companies provide SSL cert for about 40-50 $ range, I thinks it's affordable for any serious sites.
