how to handle language file during dolphin update

I have default language keys along with some custom language keys  

1. Is there any way to download language file that contain all the keys?

During upgrade of dolphin from x.x.x to x.x.y

2. how it will effect custom keys?

Doing an upgrade should not affect your custom language keys.

No, they should be unaffected by the upgrade.

I have customized my site extensively and changed quite a lot of language keys. I am therefore also a bit hesitating doing the update from 7.3.3 to 7.3.4

May I ask if you have already done the upgrade and with what experience ?
