as am new to the software so am facing loads of problem in creating my own social network site..

i had downloaded dolphin  6.1.6 <boonex> from official site and also installed it successfully

but when i try accessing to several icons like videos, blogs, forums, etc then am redirected to a page with error message... object not found..

so i dont knw wot to do next..

please kindly help me in resolving my problm..

i dont know how to proceed further and make my own community..

please.. it will be really kind of you..

You need to give us the full errors your getting in your e-mail, but it sounds like you don't have everything.  This normally happens when people upload the files using default on their FTP instead of setting it to Binary.  Also, check your file permissions and ensure they are set correctly.  Can't promise these items will help, but it's where you have to start.

Try downloading the script from your file manager and extracting it from there. Worked for me with no permission issues or lost files. Mydatery is right,ftp programs can miss fils and if you look at the bottom of your ftp (fiiezilla) hopefully you will see 3 tags 1: Queued files 2: Failed transfers 3: Successful transfers. Look at failed transfer and see if some files could not be download. But i would do the file manger upload and extract if you have a cpanel.

without actually seeing what you are talking about here, i would venture to guess this is your htaccess file. generally when uploading FTP your server or your FTP client refuses to push or overwrite the htaccess file, which is needed for the mod_rewrite of the Search Engine Friendly urls. so check your htaccess size on the server compared the htaccess file size on your localhost where you downloaded the application to. also, if you have access to shell, you can wget the files which makes it a little less of a mistake prone attempt.
