help with BX_Ava_Avatar

still i have the problem with the key from bx_ava_avatar

because of this problem  we can't do anything on our site

because we like to translate everything  but now it is not posible

can anybody help me

i already took the item out of the menu

installed the module and de-installed

but nothing helps

we tried to install te software several times but it keeps comming back

please help us because we are  now  starting to get sick of waiting for help

for nowi am glaid we did not pay for dolphin yet

because that would be a waste of my money

You need to give more information of your problem, we're not mind readers.  What is going on, what are you trying to do, what is the software doing that you think is broken, how have you changed the program, what did you install and uninstall, etc.

when we started with dolphin we forgot that we want to put in the dutch language and therefor we had to remove the installed modules, after reinstalling there was a language key left on the site from blog and because of this key we could not install the dutch language, so we started all over again because we could not remove it from the site, we have no idear how to do it

installed the software again on the server and on our site, but after installing it we had the key of avatar on our site what give us the same problem as before, we tried to install it all over again but the key keeps comming back

i read in the forum that we should take it out of navagation menu, i did but still the same problem

i installed avatar and reinstalled it but still the key is left in the site

i looked for help from a agant but he said he could not solve this problem and would play it to a develper but we still didn't hear anything

our main problem is because there is a languagekey of avatar9BX_ava_avatar) in our site we can not put in the translation files we have made in dutch

we like to have our site in dutch because it is more welcomming for our guest

we did not make any further changes in the software, and we have it installed naked (without any modules) on our site

I know it feels horrible when you have a problem and really get the help you are looking for. The only thing I can tell you is to hit up James Tadeo's site and talk to him on skype. He is a very busy person so when you grab him, hold on to him as long as you can. Get your question in quickly. I'm sure he can guide you in the right direction. And if you can't seem to get it yourself then, just pay him to do it for you.

I remember seeing that bx_avatar, joint when I first installed my site, Once I installed the avatar module, everything went away. So I'm not sure what is going on in that area. Hit up James...google him

Totally agree, skype can be used as a messenger alone as well. It doesn't necessarily have to be used as a calling station. But any who, they should correct it for free. This is obviously something that needs to be worked on because you aren't the only one whom I've heard speak about this. Is your Avatar tab setup correctly? Can you click on that "bx_avatar tab and go where you are suppose to? If so one of the things I did was go to the menu tab and just erase that bx and underscore. And it worked ok and so far it still does.

maybe i can do that but that does not mean that it is gone form your site

it still means something from avatar is on your site

i already took it out of the menu but did not work

also installed the module en deinstalled it but stil it is comming back

it is an error in the scripts from dolphin en they need to solve this problem

well i am already waiting about a month to solve it

and even my friend who helps me with the site and knows even more than i do

This is the part i don't understand. I don't see why that language key should be causing a problem with installing your language.

That key is to be part of the avatar modules transulation and left out of the main language file.

So, i have not yet seen any information provided as to how the transulation was done, and what, if any error messages are reported when the new language is imported.

and because it is a part of the avatar module, that means that there is a part installed of the module and when you want to put in a different language file you need to uninstall all modules and although the module it self is not in stalled it is a part of the module and i need to get rid of it before i can put in  any language files of diferent language

because when i try to install my lasnguage file at first the whole site turns in this kind of text language_main_menu etc etc

and when i try to compile the language again my dutch file has turned completly in English

even when i have all the other items put in the right position for the dutch language

so as long the key is in the the site the system language in different language can not been installed
