These values are held in an xml file located at:

/flash/modules/chat/xml/settings.xml.

you are looking for this:

Allow site visitors to post messages

But shouldn't the poster be concern that his flash apps disappeared in admin?

did everything checks ok. and file permissions as well. it might be something in the global directory. at least on stock. it spins for a bit then says authorization failed.

THIS IS A NIGHTMARE AND STILL GOING ON. NO FLASH APPS ACCESS TO ADMIN FLASH.

can someone list "ALL" the flash app datafields in the mysql database??

i have reset all the "RAY" ones but that doesn't work.

the setting must be in another datafield

what i am going to do it

1:move my htdocs

2:set up a default 7.1.6 htdocs

3:reinstall d7.1.6

4:GET THOSE FLASH FIELDS TO ANOTHER DIRECTORY

5:switch back to my site in HTDOCS

6:overwrite my mysql data fields with the correct fields to get flash apps aministration working

7:pray to hell that it works.

right now. with my new isp chatrooms/instant video messenger etc. DO NOT WORK

no RMS access. so it keeps spinning on connect. and does nothing.

i really need to get back into flash admin so i can fix the settings.

or if there is a rms config file on disk be able to edit it.

please help. this is an ongoing problem with d7.1.6

How are you hosting your site? I got a report that a person had lost their flash apps and it turned out their hosting provider had blocked flash.

I HOST it myself and have had the firewall off completely during test. so it is something else. like a mysql database field missing or something

How are you hosting it; with Linux/Windows etc?

If you think it is a missing mysql field, then create a new site on your server; you can use a sub-domain to handle it, and install a fresh copy of Dolphin. If the Flash apps are present on this new install, then you can take it from there.
