guest in wall - memberships

I do not want to allow the wall to eliminate post other than themselves and do not want to remove a guest post on the wall.
Disable these options are not members but still the same.
The guest post can remove any member of the wall and can remove wall post cualquiero whether or not the.
How I can fix this?

Did you try to select the "privileges" for the particular member's group you are interested?

Go to Admin Panel>>Settings>>Membership Levels then at the bottom of that page, you will see the member's groups, select "Actions", the actions currently allowed are the blue ones, while the permissions greyed out are currently disabled, to change any of this, tick the box on the side of the action you are interested, then, scroll down the page and click on "Disable" or "Enable", that's it.

Thanks for answering.
I tell you.
Realize what I mention, in the field of action in the Admin, select the "non-members" and uncheck and disable the options did not want to undertake the guests.
But when I enter as a guest post I can remove the wall.
Look for "Remove post the wall" in stock options and I can not find.
Please, as I can fix it!

No no, I mean the wall.
With the blog I have no problems.
The member does not have any item not related to delete or add on.
I put some pictures

I put as seen guest memberships over the wall in the manager
I put the wall that I have installed
I put the wall as seen when visiting the site without registering.

Yes, if you move your wall to the index page, and have it set for "guest" to view, they have the option to DELETE every single post. The way around this is to set the block to only show for members only.

It makes no sense for you to make you wall visible to guest because it shows ALL persons feeds, I wouldn't like that, the whole idea behind the "wall" if for you to see what your friends are doing.

Imagine is your site has 20,000 members, all able to see everyone's postings.

If your wanting guest to see your site activity, that is what the "spy" module is best for..

I see, thanks, it's all clear now.

You are correct, it should not happen, i did try to simulate the error you are having on my installation, but i couldn't recreate it.

I had strange problems before because i updated my Php to the latest version, this is what i have right now and it's working fine:

That's interesting, i did not try that.

I was able to see the wall of the members by selecting each ones walls as a guest, and even post on them, but i could not erase the posts as described by the OP, so, Way2Park, have you actually moved the location of your wall?

If you move your site wall, both 7.1 or 7.0.x, to index and allow guest to see, they can delete all the postings.

Been there done that...

There will be a red X in top right of each post. That is all it takes.

That is on a "profile" page, not the index.

[edit] not talking about "Guest" being able to leave comments. Unless I have misread the first post.

I have moved the "TIMELINE" to the index of http://mynewbeetle.net/7.1/index.php

and have set for "guest" to see, go there now and see the timeline/wall (same module) and you have the option, as a guest, to delete all the postings on the wall.

Go see..

[edit] It is now set for "members" only, don't want to risk someone removing test content.

Hello test102
I do not understand, we were trying to fix the wall and see who wrote another question in the same post with another answer, I can not understand anything.
But I will guide me with you.
I wonder if the wall motion, the truth, I do not know, but it might have done.
What is the right place that should be the wall?

Ohh nooo, that's a disgrace! I mean, i am here waiting for this new Dolphin to jump out of the water with the "Timeline", and already has a huge issue as that?

Is any of the wizzs around being able to modify this problem? Anything being discussed on "This Week In The Mammal" yet ????

I am sure, people installing Dolphin, do not want to give administrator's privileges to every single member (and non member)browsing the site...

First let me clarify, the wall I move to the index page on my demo was my doing. This is not how the 7.1 is setup, default will be the "Outline Box"

Boonex did not intend it to be there, it is for the profile page. I simply duplicated it but set it to show on the index page and only to members.

ALL of this was done via myphpadmin, you will not find this unless you have Deanos Block Tools. That allows you to easily move/copy some blocks from one page to another. I just do it manually in the database.

My demo is using additional modules  like the Facebook module wall, and events importing. So there are several things you will not see in a default 7.1 setup.

I'm working everyday to get the jump so I will know as much about 7.1 as I can, right now before even the beta is done.

I'm sorry if this is confusing. I know I'm referencing 7.1 wall but I have done this to many 7.0.9 sites.

In other words, the profile "wall" was never intended to be on the index page. This is a work around.

Ok, maybe i interpreted things on a different way from what they supposed to be.

I just thought, that as we have the option to move items around through the admin's panel, including the "wall item", Dolphin somehow gave us this possibility, but even if that was not feasible, it would be nice to fix this inconvenience somehow with either a work around or a permanent fix, why having this limitation on? Being able to share messages and other stuff on the main page it's a feature which is just too good to miss (imo) Smile
