foter is spelled wrong. i hope this is not the case on your install. anyways, it goes in public_html/templates/base/_footer.html and don't forget to clear your cache files afterwards. |
This does not work, I tried this... |
This does not work, I tried this... yep, hes right i cant get google to do it eather.. says tracking not installed |
Two questions: My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |
Google doesn't need to reindex your site to pick up the tracking code for analytics, just log into Google Analytics and make sure you have the ID starting UA-*** inserted in place and it should pick it up after 2/3 hours. I haven't installed the latest Beta so can't say I've tried it but it placing the analytics code in the base/_footer.html file as Lavinco mentions should be working fine. Check the page source of your home page to make sure you can see the GA scipt. |

/base/_footer Clears Cache- no go with Analytics... Odd, I just installed this software and got the site up running tonight ( I am a noob with dolphin) but had a bit of a learning curve with it vs all of the other php based sites I have set up. Seems like GA doesn't like it? Anyone have any troubleshooting advice? |
are you using a custom template and if yes check that is it have _footer.html file but i think you should put that code in _header.html. Good luck. so much to do.... |
