google Chrome isnt compatible

has anyone else had the problems with users having "limited" access to modules they have all rights to simply because they are using google chrome?  i only have about 20 users total and it hase come up in 25% of my users.  Lord only knows how much of a headache this is going to be once we "go public" with our site.  I need a fix and i need it before July 10th.....HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

I've not experienced this yet.  Is it a specific module? I use Google Chrome as my main browser, and haven't had any real issue.

The hardest thing for me is that I'd rather be able to access the site from my work PC at lunchtimes so I can get on with building it... but that uses IE6 which makes it impossible!

I have had some issues with Chrome - mostly with respect to the Jquery framework and the admin panel. This is most noticeable in the navigation builder - on page load the blocks sometimes rearrange themselves (a complete PITA).

I generally stay out of the admin panel when using chrome and use FF instead.

The site behaves okay when viewing the front end though.

@different_light - you might want to try the ie7-js project - it might make ie6 behave enough to be useable. I've not tested this so cannot comment on it's effectiveness, but others have good reports.

The URL is http://code.google.com/p/ie7-js/

Would be interested to learn if it works.

Just had a quick look at IE6 with this.

It's actually quite useable, the png fix is an issue though - as it would require renaming many images, but might work with the global png setting.

Probably wouldn't want to do any visual design work in IE6, but is easily useable enough to mess about with content related stuff

I hav had MANY of my current users unable to set up and use a blog for instance, when logged in using google Chrome.   many other small funtion limits as well i cant figure out why others are not having this problem, as soon as i ask them to use ANY OTHER browser it all works perfectly.  Crazy.  oh well i just changes the FAQ'a ans ADVICE sections to reflect this situation.  hopefully after we open to the public this coming Saturday evening, my managers have got it in their heads how to answer these google chrome questions as they come up and it will be a non issure or minimal at best.  thank you for your input though, VERY APPRECIATED

I have that frustrating issue with the profile fields rearranging themselves when I use Chrome also, so try to remember to use Firefox for that.
