ftp upload for videos?

Is there a mod or way to ftp upload videos to D7?

Of course I mean with admin control over things like video description, thumbnails etc.....!

Anyone know anything or figured this out?

I'm not quite sure how you could go about doing that. Mostly because videos need to be converted and processed through the ffmpeg binary, first. Why do you want to upload videos through FTP?

because I have 100s of videos that I will be adding on a regular basis!

I have a clipshare site with a mod that allows me to add flv files to the right folders, then jst add then video info in the admin section which directs straight to the flv file.

Means no converting as files are already flv, the site just draws the info from the right places.

I can do it the normal way but would really speed things up if I could just ftp them in bulk!
