 I have tried hundreds of times to get the correct ftp info to save in the "add modules" area of the dashboard on my site it just will not stick for some reason.... I cant use it at all to upload or install modules so I have had to have tech support at my server, or the module creator install for me.
It is just fine in the advanced settings area... thanks in advance for any advice... |
Add it under Advanced Settings. It should save there. Also note that not all modules and templates are packaged in a way that support direct uploading. it is saved correctly under the advanced settings.... but it will not save where you upload mods etc.... it says to correct the settings, and when you do, it will go back to what is on now... nothing is said about format just that it is the wrong ftp info |

If you're getting an error when uploading, please post the full error. It would also help if you mentioned the module name and vendor - some don't package for the uploader, so won't work.
