 ok something with the google search. files got deleted. but the search engine shows the file as still being there. I noticed a few glitches like that when you go to delete you account or something. note spy does the same thing. it does not delete the user data after you delete your account. name change for forums does not change the name of posts when the user changes their name. |
I am wondering if this is tying in with a blog post showing the viewer user name as the author; I am thinking the blog post is a left over after a member deleted their account, so it is no longer tied to a user. Geeks, making the world a better place |
It appears that the member did remove their account and their blog post was left behind. This is a serious problem since when a member leaves their content needs to go as well. This could result in a copyright issue with members since we have stated that we do not retain any copies of their content if they leave our site. Geeks, making the world a better place |
