embed twitch.tv

Hey all,

is there a way i can edit the Video Module to allow users to embed videos from Twitch.TV using the URL like Youtube.

example URL: http://www.twitch.tv/blackshadowmike/b/402046829

embed code for example:

i don't think there is a way yet...

The answer is yes; but you need to do some code modification and add it to the htmlpurifier so it isn't stripped out.  The best way to do it is to clone the Youtube.php embed in the htmlpurifer and rename it.  Look in /plugins/htmlpurifier/standalone/HTMLPurifier/Filter.  You also need to add the uploader code; clone the current embed for the video service call.  There use to be a module in the market for additional embed sources.

OK, I look foolish here; for some reason spike10 decided he would bump a post from back in 2013 and I was too stupid to pay attention to the post date.  Why in hades would you revive an old post and comment in it just to say it can't be done when the OP is long gone?

 i was asking in the same way that he was and no other post was made about it ( twitch Live ) as well

also, yes it was older forum post but at lease he got his question answer..

Did anyone have success in embedding videos from other sites by modifying the Video module? I thought it would have been a straightforward process but I have spent more than 30 hours over the past few weeks trying to get this working without any success.
