email enhancement

Does anyone know of a mod or a developer who could provide the functionality to:

1) Make unread messages received notification more obvious.  Something like what boonex is doing now on the Account tab at the top of the page--message count in a big red dot overlaying the tab or maybe at the top of the screen the way facebook does it.  We are finding that users just don't notice that they have waiting mail by the indicator on their member menu at the bottom of the page.

2) Allow threaded display of email messages (sent and received), rather than forcing the user to jump between inbox and outbox.

3) Allow the creation of a digest that would bundle up all notifications into a single email that could be sent out once a day. Something along the lines of:

 You have new emails
 You have friend requests
 You have been visited by a,b,c & d
 etc.

Now these are some enhancements that should be at the TOP of their list. It's not like no one mentioned them before.

I was really disappointed to see that nothing was improved with the messengering system. They're still stuck in the '80s with that. But even then, the BBS's had some decent functionality.

The digest is a fantastic idea too.

Well, for digest I'm using modzzz Notifier, I think it's his mod lol anyway. For prominent New Message notification there's a free mod somewhere displaying as a new block, if there's a new message (cannot remember the name of the module though). However, for the message thread I have only prayers so far. How difficult it's got to be to display messages and message history like Fb does??

Go to job section it needs customization or you can tweak member menu to display on top..
