editing the about information

on d7.1 beta in the admin section there is a link on the main page to edit the about information.

pressing on the link brings you to languages.

does anyone know what .php file they were trying to run with that link?

I need to edit the about section. editing the language file got my pictures not showing on the main page so i had to restore it back to normal. OVERWRITE.

This is for my credits list.

as a beginner this threw me off too. thought following the list was a good place to start :?

i ended up making a new "about us " page, and changing the link in navigation. not sure that's the "right" thing to do. that's what i did.

sorry i can't be more help.

that's a good idea.. but i am trying to test the new 7.1 beta.

it has a link for the editor but its going to the wrong place.

I also tried that free mpageeditor but it won't install with d7.1. says not compatible with version.

I had a post about this already. If you search your problem before posting, sometime you can find that someone else already went through the same problem. See this thread: http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/Language-Key-for-About-Us.htm

checking now....

Excellent. That is so much more easier with a tutorial. good work.

although I am kind of cranky about expecting an editor with the link, that works awesome.. NOW i can give credits and hopefully the site doesn't act up... testing right now

hm... doesn't take line feeds to well from text file (all one line)

trying the basic html code commands (I ran into problems with that one already doing it manually hopefully it works) will know later on
