editing the 404 page and "file not found" pages

can you put google adsense on 404 pages? and  where do you go to edit the default 404 page

and while we are on the subject the default boonex "file not found" for deleted videos and "empty" for deleted pics pages, where can you edit these at too?

I been doing some spring cleaning on my sites and there is going to be alot of  links that no longer work

No, if I understand correctly, that violates the terms of use of Adsense.

Go to the backend.  Go to Settings.  Go to Language Settings.  In the filter box put file not found. Click the apply filter and you will get a list of the language keys for File Not Found.

Do the same with the word empty.

This was discussed before by Newt, He has a banner on his 404 not sure if it is Google adsense, but if I remember right there was a loop hole in the google policy that allowed the banner. Something about written text on page and clearly advert. He put some text on the page, like OOPs, you must be a member to access that area.....or something like that with a link to the join php saying join here now . I do not remember the location of the file to modify. I looked for the topic but did not find it. IF I do I will post here again.
