desperate for video embed help

Hi all,

In groups and clubs (which I have rebranded to crews) there is no drop down box with the options to embed videos. all there is the the option to upload to dolphin? In the videos setion of the site, when I upload a video i can access all the video options including embed.... any ideas why this isnt implemented in groups???

I need my members to be able to embed multiple videos into their groups - is there a way to do this that does not require the use of a 3rd party mod?  Can it be done?

Any help on this will be appreciated as I am supposed to launch next week after several delays, and I do not wish to delay again,

This isn't really what you're asking, but it's a quick & dirty fix that we use. If you embed the video into the video albums, it will generate another embed code that will work on the forums in groups & clubs/crews. Or, of course, you can just embed the original youtube embed code into the forums. 

For a group that has a high interest in video, you can create a sticky forum post titled 'videos' or whatever and in this way they are all grouped together.

Not the most elegant solution (by far), but at least it allows a way for embedded videos to be in groups.

(and if you do break down and get a mod, msg me, I have a great recommendation - although it only adjusts to having one embedded video on the group homepage. so if you're looking for user ability to embed, then even that's out!)

It just seems insanity to me that dolphin includes this in video but not anywhere else lol..
