 clicking on the friends thumbnail in friend list should open simple messenger . This feature will make it easy for the members to chat with their friends .. also the pop up menu which appears when we hold the mouse for few seconds should be changed to if the avatar is clicked the menu should pop up having one more option of view profile.. this will make dolphin very easy to use.

I actually did all of this as a modification for a former client. But personally, I'm against the simple messenger suggestion, as that should remain as an option in the avatar menu, even if the profile in question is a friend. hello.. i am talking about the online friend list which comes at the bottom in the member bar.. its very hard for a user to find out how a simple messenger would start and generally end up in clicking the thumbnail of their friends or the videochat symbol which doesnt in anyway looks like a chatting symbol. i wish if anybody here could help so that when a member's friend is online which is shown in the member menu .. if a user clicks on the thumbnail or the video chat symbol the simple messenger should start first and then a option of changing to video messenger should appear as it now appears in the simple messenger chat.. My other option of action menu pop up is also a good option... it will make easier for the member to select the most used options directly rather than going in the profile or waiting for the pop up to appear. |
