chat and video

I just enabled my chat feature and am unable to figure out how to use video chat.  the help says to click the cast video button next to my avatar - I do not see that button - help please??

You need to have a RMS configured to have video chat enabled. If you do not have one, you can attempt to use Booonex's free one (not always available) or you can purchase a stand-alone RMS package from a host.

How do I try the free one?   and configure it?   What is RMS?

It is Ray Media Server. Its what allows you to use things like webcams, record audio, etc.

This is the free one (if it still working):

Go into your admin panel

click plugins

click Ray Suite

When the box appears click Base Settings and input this:

RMS Address: rms.boonex.com

RMS Port: 1935

RMS HTTP Port: 5080

There SHOULD NOT be a check mark in Use RMS nor anything in Your Site Name. Remember, they are talking of discontinuing this, so you may want to look into a RMS host. If you need one, I can supply the one I use.

Browles, you can search the ads section here in Unity for Web Hosts that provide RMS. I know that JoomByte is who I use (cough cough) not trying to recommend or nothing (cough cough).
