changing currency symbols in classifieds

My currency symbol in my advanced settings is set to the US Dollar symbol, my currency in payment settings is set to US Dollar symbol BUT my classifieds is showing the Euro symbol. How do I resolve this so the currency symbol in my classifieds is the US dollar symbol?

Even though the currency symbol in basic settings may be set to "$" or whatever...  Currency Symbols for classifieds can also be set individally in the administration panel under Content | Classifieds. To clarify select a category from the drop down menu ie: Cars for sale. Currency symbol can be changed under unit name.
