cannot upload photos - upload failed

I'm doing something wrong but I cant figure out what...

I simply cannot upload files in my Doplphin (7.4.1)

First of all, you need to check the error log of your server where Dolphin has been installed. The main reason - something wrong with permissions - closed folders prevent the files upload. The way to check it - visit admin panel->tools->host tools section and click the link

I checked the permisions and it looks ok - all green (see attched).

Wird think though: the path diplayed for the failed uplod is C:\fakepath\file.ext...

Fakepath?!

"Fakepath" is used to hide the real serer paths to prevent of the using it by some tricksters. Please PM me with your Dolphin's admin and Control Panel's access details, I will check it.

What version is show in your admin panel for Dolphin?  You reported you were running Dolphin 7.4.1 but the module version is for Dolphin 7.4.2
