Sure, it can be done - but it is not easy - start with the profile tables on both sites and work on getting the fields to match up. Beyond the technical issues, you have some practical ones though. The people who joined your car site did not join a dating site (as far as I know) and may not be interested in being on a dating site- I assume some of them would even be married or committed. You could still load the database, and then send out a new authorization letter. That is what I am doing, though technically I don't have to since the purpose of the sites are exactly the same - just a new technology. In your case I think you will have to have some way for your users to "opt in" to your new offering. - Rob |
