Look. Keep your dolphin-techs email out of the boonex forums.

They are not affiliated with boonex, and dolphin is not their product. They just provide hosting for the script and 3'rd party tech support. And yes as a 3'rd party they should be paid if you want their assistance.

This is no different than taking a broken computer to a repair shop. Each repair shop is going to want to be paid regardless of where you bought the computer.

Take your license issues up with boonex privately in email. The license is a separate issue from the hosting.

yes but i didnt break it it was broken when i got it so i was given broken product and i paid lisence and i will keep telling every1 its a scam till you fix the zip download for customers as you giving broken goods and selling lisences for them so nice try poor clients it will happen over and over again and will be informing your server host of this and have you shut down scamming money from people of net is bullying dont pay lisence make sure all works then buy lisence as i have and im left with broken site !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

We are all using the same product. Including me. So this is going to accomplish nothing.

Thats why there are free licenses so you can try the product before you purchace a license to remove the ads. Dolphin requires a proper host to run, and even after that, the install must be properly done, and after install, cron needs to be properly setup and the forums configured which need to be done by hand. During that time the free licenses can be used.

Are Frankie80 and FrankGrant21 the same person?  Why would you post with two different profiles on the same thread?  It is hard to know what is going on here, but if you bought a license it should still be there even if it is not working on your host right now.  Check whatever profile you bought it with under "licenses" - it should be there.

Listen you idiot, this has nothing to do with BoonEx. In case you haven't noticed, John Miller is a part of Terabyte Hosting Solutions and Dolphin Techs, and both are unaffiliated with BoonEx. And your problems are of your own doing, and no one elses.

Perhaps you meant to say until boonex treats their customers better.

You should start by contacting the boonex agents rather than doing something like this. Because this is the wrong way to solve a problem.

The funny thing is, all these scam topics have one thing in common: their authors are idiots. The fact that you don't know how to manage a Dolphin installation doesn't mean that BoonEx are scammers. If you have a problem, contact an agent, and save yourself from this kind of situation.

We all download the product from the same link, as deano pointed out you daft pratt...Dolphin is a very complex programme and can have you pulling your hair out here and there (usually from making your own mistakes) but the forum is really helpful when answeres are needed and 99% of the time, you can do things in dolphin without a programmer.

I have the same dolphin as you do and a license and my site works fine apart from when I make my own mistakes, so not sure how you are able to say that dolphin are ripping people off???

Why is it that so many of the people who really murder the English language here seem to be English?  i.e. from the UK.  Hope I don't get banned here for disparaging a nationality - it is just an observation.

You're forgetting about the hundreds of thousands of other people who downloaded the same package as you did. The point? They all have functioning web sites right out of the installation (save for the light web hosting issue here and there).

You requested tech support from a third party, who are anything but scammers themselves. Do you honestly think that anyone's going to provide the kind of support you needed for free? Sure, we might of, but that kind of dedicated support takes time and resources, and deserves compensation. The fact that you used a third party and did not contact BoonEx is not anyone's mistake, but your own.

I'd love to have helped you, but when you come in here touting complete crap, things change quickly.

@Frankie - If you honestly think that Boonex is a scam, here is a really simple solution. DONT USE IT. See, problem solved. Everyone here has downloaded the same installation file as you have. We all (most all) have installed it, configured it, tested, and utilize it everyday. The chances of ONLY you getting a bad download link are slim to none. If you request the help of anyone, chances are they may want to charge you and thats their option. Its your option to pay or not. You have made your opinion known, so you can stop now. You already had one profile banned, why make it two?

@ everyone else, Please refrain from name calling and feeding into this post. Discuss as you may but please make sure you adhere to the forum rules.

HL, I'm not scolding anyone at all, I just don't want anyone to get into trouble or reported just because of what some other person posted. Obviously we know this person is having some issues and the first response from them is "scam", "Its all Boonex's fault", etc.

Hard to say.  I believe this person is trying to come up with some sort of comment regarding the events of 9/11/2001, that is supposed to make us lose our cool.  Unfortunately, they do not have enough  intelligence to form a coherent sentence.   I have no idea what they might need a script like Dolphin for.  I think this person is better suited for a career as a crash test dummy, or a sonar target for the United States Navy.

My guess is that he is the resident of a foreign country, and follows the illusion that anything concerning September 11, 2001 makes us blow a casket. Believing this, he is most likely trying to make it seem that we are un-rightfully going off at him, so that we may be banned and he can sleep at night with his blankie, knowing he defeated us big boys. If so, he's more of an idiot than he gives credit for.

 i read through this guys post,, i will say i am very happy with boonex it is what you make it. But this guy crossed the line with the 911 jokes, and even though it was over a year ago and his site is long gone and failed.. i still looked him up on fb and im fixing to go to work on him, i will show him some good ol proper trolling!
