big problem with my website

ok now this is getting really strange,

i have been trying to change to font colour on my website as it classhes with the website background, i have tried everything i can think of and have been told but still i cant seem to change it,

and now i just did a backup of my database and as a test i deleted everything off my_template general.css file, and saved it, when i refreshed my website after doing this nothing changed at all!! now im worried as it seems nothing i do can change my site i change the permissions to 757 so cant be that,, :( anyonw kno why this could be???

Have you cleared the Dolphin's cache before all these?

ok thick moment now, but how do i clear the cache???

Log into your administration panel. On the Dashboard there is a section called "Cache". In there a link called "Clean All". Click on that to clear down the website cache.

im workin on 6.1.6 and cant see a section called cache in the dashboard :( on admin panel

You must go to folder "cache" and delete all it's contents (keep a backup just in case). Dolphin v6 doesn't have a "clear cache" system.

To be sure  that your browser isn't also keeping any cache, open your site and press Control+F5...this will force your browser to refresh your after clearing it's cache memory.

found it i think, and deleated all files inside, refreshed website (f5) and nothing has changed :(
