application programming interface (API)

Hi - can someone please advise

Can Boonex support application programming interface (API) so that I can write a customised search engine for the site?

Thanks

There is something fishy about not finding any information about this, I  am in the same position. I believe that is how boonex monetizes their services, so you have to pay them for implementation of a certain market api's that they allow. That's a deal breaker for me; boonex are you listening?

Everything you'll need as far as classes, functions, methods etc can be found here:

http://www.boonex.com/doc/

Check out the help link. There is a simple tutorial on how to roll your own module.

There is no secret sauce that is kept. If you know how to work with PHP, mySQL, jQuery, CSS etc, then you are good to go. If you are use to procedural based programming then you may want to take a refresher course on the basics of OOP as Dolphin uses classes very heavily.

Good luck.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
