adding photos from another website?

I wonder if someone knows how to edit the source code of dolphin that for example next to the field upload your image/photo/video etc from a computer just add a field where user paste's url where the image is stored and then later it is just linked to that image/audio/etc instead of uploading it to the websites server?

Thanks.

i think that is coded this way to prevent users abusing their membership priveleges. as you set the number of photos/audios/videos that are allowed to be uploaded by a member according to their membership level. so basically the source would have to be edited as well as the dbase record to something that would count the number of files called by url

i.e. img_url or something similar, so that it would keep a count.

well you made an accusation that was untrue. yes i made a suggestion, you should have just taken as such, and not decided to associate my good name with the flame word "spamming" not that i really care, there are all kinds on this site, and most i try to help, and others i just laugh at when they post their woes. a simple suggestion noted would have sufficed, and seen where it went from there. i do not spam these forums, i post answers to questions, and try to help as many as i can.

yeah sucky about the whole remote link feed thing i suppose, but then again, this is setup to be a pay site if you chose to use it as such, and i suppose they just didnt think of that feature. you can make it a suggestion for future features to the developers, as i think this would be something others are interested in.
