add a page

hi,

I want to add a new page, example: " roby " and add on the home page a button to reach this page.

I visited: builders>>Navigation menu, but I didn't try to edit the top level items.

What this the correct way to do it?

Create your page, then open it and copy the URL for that page.

Goto Navigation menu in admin, drag a 'new item' from the available boxes up to where you want it on the menu.

Click on 'new item' paste your URL link to new page in URL link.

Then for the name 'Roby', type this into system name, lang key, and default name.

select visible for guest / member as requiered and save.

Then goto settings / language setting / and click 'add key'

type 'Roby' into key name and key text and save.

Clear cache and refresh browser. 

this should all show correct and will link your new menu item to your new page.
