about us page replicated in footer

Hi

I created my about us page but then had to remove the text as this also replicated itself in the sites footer.

 How can i stop this from happening?

i am not following - did you make a new about us page using the page builder, or did you change the language string text for the default about us page?

I think you accidentally changed the language string for the link text.  The whole language key thing can be troublesome.  Edit what you did and change it back to the default text.

The actually text that will show up when you click on the link is in a different language key.  Let me find it or perhaps someone will post it during my search time.

_ABOUT_US is the language key that you need to edit for the actual about us page text.

_About Us (space between About and Us) is the language key that change the text of the link you see in the footer.

it is the _ABOUT_US one i used

Go to languages and edit _About Us and see what is in that language key.  If you find your About Us page text, then delete it and change it to About Us.

Then go to _ABOUT_US and see what is contained in that key.  While I would think it highly unlikely, perhaps your Dolphin is changing both those keys at the same time.

 i was confused as when i checked both _About Us and _ABOUT_US they have the text i have placed in the _ABOUT_US box.  i changed the _About Us box and this seems to have sorted the issue
