Youtube videos no longer play in Groups

After the 7.0.1 patch YouTube Videos no longer play in Groups. Error: File Not Found is displayed after the Flash Loading Icon. I have moved the videos from HIDDEN folder, I have set them to be Viewed by Public etc.

Is there an answer about this, because I have the same problem.

I would be a happily paid licensee if I could ever get everything important to work at the same time.

I see no reason to pay for a license until I can use my site live and with problems like this one, I can't, however I have been just about ready to purchase a license for at least a year.

This function should not have broken from applying an update.

I know this is under Bug Reports, but I didn't see a ticket on it in trac and I didn't find any answers in the forums, except from when we went through the same issue last year!!

I hope I don't have to wait for the next update and then re-apply these mods that have parts that get written over during the updates.  That would be nice.

I would much rather be paying for my license and acquiring members.

BTW, I am properly hosted on Joombyte so that should not be the problem.

Also I can embed youtube into the group via the tinyMCE HTML editor and it works.  Problem is only with Youtube videos that are in a Video Album.

Does anyone know if this is being fixed, again?

Thanks,

Ron

Is this a real bug?  And if so, is anything being done about it?  I cannot find any other information about it.

Thanks for anyone's help..

Also make sure the video is not protected from the youtube poster as well.   take a video you have embeded already and try it with a new post.

The Youtube Embed video plays from Video Album, but generates "File Not Found" in Groups.

Hi again,

I am wondering if this is being acknowledged..?  We don't really even have confirmation as to if this is a problem or bug that exists in v7.0.1 & 7.0.2, recognized by Boonex, or if just a few of us have the problem.

If we could determine that, then we would know what we should be looking at, maybe a mod that we have installed or something else we might have in common.

It would be nice to just get a clear answer.  It has been a while since we posted this here.

LeonidS, I sent a complete description and my site access info to you, a few days ago also.  It would be very nice if you can help to determine the cause of this.  My symptoms are exactly the same as Sydeburnz'.  I also uploaded a new test to a video album again and categorized it as "groups".  Then went to a group and added video and selected it.  It shows in the thumbnails under the video player, but when clicked, I get the same Error, File not found.. We would really appreciate any help you can offer, very much.  If you need any other info, please let me know.

Thanks again,

Ron

http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/changeset/14144
