Your site might hit resource limits soon - TMDHost

Is anyone able to run a proper Dolphin site using TMDHosting? This is the second hosting that is failing me. I don't even have any members yet on my site. I am working on my first Dolphin site. Can anyone please recommend me a good hosting provider that won't give me the error in the attachment?? People say Zarconia, but I am finding hard to trust that list of recommended hostings since TMDHosting is not working for my Dolphin site.

Please help.

Thanks

I have had a similar issue with arvixe, it cleared itself within 24hrs, 2 days before support replied.

If I continue with dolphin as an end product, I could see myself going with zarconia, simply because it is run by advanced dolphin users.

Thank you for the replies, I think I will try Zarconia then. Hopefully they do not fail me. TMDHosting should be taken down from the list of recommended host providers.

Good evening Thwar077...I have TMD Hosting for my new Dolphin site...I was with another hosting company with my Dolphin site and it was a disaster...My site kept crashing and no one at the other hosting company knew what to do...I had to remove dolphin and reinstall it 3 times...

TMD Hosting is great to me...they understand Dolphin...and they don't seem to get bothered by me constantly contacting them...

I would like to know what was your problem...because I love TMD Hosting...

I used TMDHosting before and got the same warning you are getting now. The amazing thing is they will not tell anything within 60 days as you are in money back guarantee period and you will ask for it!

They will start saying this after 60 days and they will tell the only solution is to Upgrade! Also, in the beginning, they will do your custom work about Dolphin like modify this and this. Once 60 days is over, We do not provide custom modification. Hire a developer!

I moved to VPS after that!

It will be mutually beneficial to the community readers, if both points of view are present, so here is ours. Regretfully, this thread does not contain the full information and we feel obliged to speak up.

@Thwar077 - most shared hosting providers are giving you packages with 1024 IOPS tops. We have provided you with IOPS limit three times higher than the default one and you still manage to go over it, as per your screenshot 54 times in 24 hours, which makes it more than two times an hour. Basically not sure if there is hosting company that will provide this much on shared. Given the fact, however, your website has no members, this means the issue might be coming from something else on your account. Would you mind mailing bfiery@tmdhosting.com and provide some more information so our Technical Support Seniors can take a look at your case further?

@IrfanAlam - before falsely accusing us of refusing custom development services, I think it would be also good to share with the general public that we have completed 103 technical support requests beforehand. Large amount of them was related to modding, theming and customizing your website - you have not been charged additionally. You have been with us way more than the 60 days you are mentioning and no one has ever forced you to upgrade towards a VPS, implying this will somehow give you unlimited amount of development work. We provide the very same tier of services to our Customers, no matter what their plan is — basically both shared and dedicated servers get the very same attention from our Technical Support Team. Therefore, the accusing us of asking you to upgrade, so we can continue to provide support is not just partially, but entirely incorrect.

Still, if you both feel somehow mislead, email  bfiery@tmdhosting.com and provide some more information so our Technical Support Seniors can take a look at your cases further.

We remain at your immediate disposal further.

When I joined TMD Hosting, you provided 3MB/s I/O speed. After around 7 months when you moved your data center to another location, you promised it will increase the performance and customer will get more improved features. I don't know whether performance is increased or not but you reduced I/O speed to 1MB/s.
After a long fight with you via ticket, you provided me 3MB/s again saying, We are only providing this to you and we will closely monitor your account!!

Your shared hosting do not support even the initial version of PrestaShop and WordPress having nothing in it. Just the initial installation.

I am bumping this as I am experiencing the same with a TMD hosting.  It appears when the cron jobs run doing some of the basic things the IOPS goes out the limit and the site crawls to a stand still.  TMDs answer has been to move to one of their cloud solutions.  So, this means that TMD should not provide any Dolphin hosting on their shared servers and should point this out to any potential customers that only their cloud services can support a Dolphin Pro site.

I will be recommending the client move away from TMD hosting.

I just told the client that if they wanted to stay on shared hosting to contact Zarconia; I don't do share Dolphin hosting, I do offer VPSes and Dedicated servers optimised to be fast and ready for Dolphin.

The truth is that TMD might have been a Dolphin Host for older versions of the software but they don't offer shared hosting for Dolphin 7.3.3, they offer shared hosting where they have thousands of hosted sites and you can not have tens of thousands of sites on a single server and offer the resources that Dolphin needs.

TMD either needs to offer those shared servers for Dolphin or they need to be removed from the recommended host by Boonex.  I know that Boonex doesn't want to loose the revenue from that listing but they are not doing their customers any good by keeping TMD in the list.
