I just discovered that if I try to embed a YouTube video that has (https:) at the beginning of the address, it won't work.
It seems that all the YouTube pages are now SSL protected.
You can still embed the videos as long as you remove the "s" so it looks like this (http:)
Is it possible to get our Dolphin sites to accept both (https:) and (http:)?
The last thing we want to do is make things more complicated for our members.
Thanks!

Wow...no comments yet! Would love to hear if anyone is encountering the same issue. Just want to make sure it's not only on my end.
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Can you give an example of such a page? I can't find a single instance of this.

@houstonlively - I guess it all depends on how you get to the YouTube page. I use Firefox as my browser and Google as my search engine. At the top of the Google page you will see a YouTube link, this is where I get the SSL pages.
I did notice that if you use Internet Explorer and Google and also click on the YouTube link, you won't get the SSL pages. Weird!

When I'm logged into my Google account, I get to the secure YouTube page, but as soon as I land on any video page, it's back to plain old http. It is weird, that I can't duplicate your situation.

Thanks houstonlively for checking in on this matter further. It appears that I was logged into my Google account and that it why I was getting the SSL pages.
But at least in my case, as long as I'm logged into my Google account, any page I visit through YouTube will be SSL protected. Not sure why it isn't the case on your side.
Nonetheless, I still think it's a good idea for the embed option to accept both. And it appears that the Boonex team already has a ticket on it.
