YouTube Videos Bug

Hi!

First of all i don't know if its only happening with me or its a common bug. Infact i have to report 2 things to boonex

1) Bug

2) Request both related to Youtube

1) Embed video Bug

If you try to import video from youtube which have no description at all "empty" then script will automatically fill weird description, like thum url, or youtube video url or embed code.

2) Video Approval

A) If from admin panel you select that video don't auto approve that don't work for embed videos, it should work for that too, cause many time people embed video only for marketing purpose or abuse content which is not good if you are running clean site, so it should also be queued for admin approval.

B) If approved embed video is deactivated from admin panel, it will be totally removed from user's album, this will be confusing for user, he/she  never knew what happened to video, i think it still show the video under user Album with status like "Rejected" and if boonex workout on the video approval for embed video as described above then status should be "Pending Approval" untill admin approve it.

Please consider this as suggestion or request in your final release, Boonex is great and most advance script but this minor thing will get site admin in lot of problem in future when site grows

And i request other user to support these request.

Hello Yasir!

1) Embed video is has the same rules as other videos - it means Description shouldn't be empty so user need to edit info like upload form validator requires.

2) In current version embed video depends from Flash settings (which u can see in Flash admin panel-> settings section). If u set auto approved option to 'false' then all embed video will be available for user's administration in 'Disapproval' section only. U can see example in ur site with 2 files from user test1 - one was uploaded before Autoapproval and one - after. In D 7.1 we'll make options dependable from one section only.

embeded takes the description from youtube site, but I can change it at any time if I want. There's maybe something wrong with your server configuration.
