In my case, the number is 11. It has been 11 ever since the unity upgrade and the new account page. I thought my blog posts were without merit and boring because NO ONE was commenting on them. I was starting to feel very inadequate.
Then I had a revelation! WooHoo!
As it turns out, I found that the Unity site was not properly counting the comments to my blog posts and reporting them to my account page!
Someone needs to take a gander and resolve the issue I think.....
