Let's discuss this:
Bug 1 is a server sided issue because boonex has no idea which type of php you will be running on the server. In the interest of keeping this software as pliable as possible and open to so many different types of hosting companies, they have not and will not most likely adjusted the script for what a few people have noticed as bugs.
As far as bug 2 goes, it must be a server sided issue as I have a copy of Hookie running on the same exact cluster that I have my D6 sites and it's running beautiful right beside them. Actually, I have it sititng in a subdomain of one of them, on the same exact server that holds my RMS and everything. I made no adjustments to the server to allow it to run and I can create profiles on mine. So that issue is a mute point in saying it's a bug. Not a bug if some can do it and others can't, then it's a server setting that needs to be addressed.
Now, what am I running? That is a simple enough answer:
php 5.2.9 (It works awesome with D6 & D7)
Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.7a mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 PHP/5.2.9

The above will get you started. I'm going to up some screen shots of all the phpinfo, after I scrub it for security reasons and get them up later today, as this is working on my servers and so many are having problems with it on others. Might help you guys out in getting it to work fully also. Keep in mind, this appears to be the situation:
As Dolphin evolves, it is becoming more and more particular as to what type of server environment it demands in order for it to run properly and Shared Hosting is quickly becoming one of the environments that it's not willing to run on. I know it's not fair to tell everyone to go get the types of servers I have, as most don't want/need the deds at this time, but please folks, if your trying to test this, at least make sure it's on a VPS at a minimum, as you do need specific server settings and you can't hold Boonex responsible for failure to make sure your server meets it's requirements. This baby is getting even more advanced than it was a year ago and at that time it was said to be one of the most advanced Social Networking Scripts out there. It would be helpful if those who are having issues would also post their server settings so that we can compare them to determine what does and what does not work the best overall for this software. As far as mine working goes, I lucked into it in having the D6 sites running with no errors and that enabled D7 to run without a hitch, believe me, it was pure luck on this one.
