As it seems, you do not have any knowledge about web design. That white background is because you saved it without setting up the background HEX color. You must change the background color of your JPEG/GIF logo to the appropiate color of your website background. Otherwise save your logo as a PNG with transparent background and it shall look fine. But anyway, i wonder how you will get over the oncoming issues with your site, if you don't know to fix such a small detail as a simple logo... |
Yes, I don't know much about website design, php, etc I am learning as I go and fortunately there are people in this forum who are generous with their advice and tutorials. Thank you for your response |
Just wanted to say Dartin - dont get disheartened - its a learning curve - im in the same boat! Ive managed to change my background colours and the colour of my logo background - it is quite simple really - im probably not doing it quite the right way but it works so feel free to let out a holla if you some help with this.

What is your website, I will take a look at it for you if you like. |
Thanks - I resolved the issue by redoing my logo and saving it in png format with transparency (so I learnt something today LOL). I was feeling rather humiliated for asking the question !!!! I appreciate the offers of help and will no doubt be calling on someone one of these days. In the meantime, like meetingpoint, I continue with this learning curve and having fun along the way. Cheers |
What you want to make is a transperant gif. In my opinion, Photoshop is the easiest. -Tom |
