White Squares

Can some one please tell me what is with the large white squares on this forum in some posts that block out half of the text.

Like here for example http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/Dolphin-is-pure-crap-time-is-something-not-to-be-wasted.htm  if you scroll down to Daihlo's post you will see a great big white square covering half the text.

I have seen this on quit a few threads and its rather anoying

looked at the post links you provided, I cannot duplicate those boxes.. I has to be browser related on your end.

Have you tried another web browser?

It would help if you gave us the name and version of your current browser.

Internet explorer 8 on windows 7 ultimate.

And please before you say get rid of internet explorer and install Firefox, I already have firefox installed, I prefer Internet explorer, Internet explorer is my default browser and my browser of choice and I dont see why I should use Firefox just to view a website, That sort of sujestion went out in the 90's when web designers started creating website to be cross browser compatible.

To tell a client they should install a certain browser to view a website properly is not good practice just as saying best viewed at "XX" X "XX" resolution is not good practice

LOL, you are right, then uninstall dolphin, and go to geocities, oh wait, geocities shutdown.

yeah throw IE away, its a crap browser, and creates more problems than it fixes. all browsers have some problems sometimes, but IE seems to have all problems all the time.
