Which file allows to edit 'Post to timeline' block

Hi Please,

Currently, on the "Post to timeline" block, there are "Text", "Photos", "Sounds", "Videos" and "Links".  I want to edit and add "Ads" and "groups"

I can't find where to locate the file that allows to edit the "post to timeline" block. help.

You cannot simply add additional modules to that list. For each item in the list there is quite a bit of corresponding coding that goes with it. 

Just install the Ads and Groups module at the backend it will appear to the option.

 Ads and groups module are already installed. Am not talking about main navigation menu at the top. I am talking about the select menu at the point where you are posting something to timeline

 Yes I know. I just want to get the files where I can locate a block of code that corresponds to one of the items and then I will just look at how others are done and do same for ads and groups

Actually all I want to add is <a href = "ads"> icon- Ads</a>

So that when someone selects, the ads, it will open the ads page.

I can't figure out how the <select> was done. I need the function that handles it

I do not understand why you want to open the Ads page from the Timeline ? Exactly what are you trying to accomplish ? 

From my understanding. He want to add this option in timeline and redirect to adding new ads .

 Yes exactly

 For easy access to users and also to encourage users to post ads just as often as they post photos. Where those Text, photos, Videos etc are on the timeline is the ideal place to have ads, groups and event.

This gives special attention to ads and groups
