Where is the new mobile app?

New mobile app have been dragged for so long. I am not a developer but is it that hard to create a simple app in webview using Cordova/phonegap? Whole app could work on 3 pages: 1 app loading  page, 2nd  join/login page, 3rd webview page. So on webview page only member menu need to be native rest of the website can work in webview. This solution is for Android only.

I can create one following this example but problem comes when member menu notifications don't work. I believe in sharing but every one here is about making money except fewguys.

I'm not quite sure why you would need an app for Dolphin, but I guess it would be trendy.

Dolphin works fine on a mobile if you use the Evo or Biz2 templates. I seems to do most of the things it does on a PC, but I've read about a few annoyances. If you have a PC, just reduce the browser screen to see how Dolphin responds, or try Dolphin on your own phone.

70% users use mobile phones to access internet. I mean general public not the office workers. So an App logo on mobile devices is enough for more interaction instead of mobile browsers. 2nd and main thing are notifications on mobile devices which keep any conversation/interaction running in real time. With out these functions dolphin is just another blogs/news/personal website. You have check it to be updated about any thing going on there. I have been asking for this, which is just included in the issue.

The worst mistake ever made in the history of mankind was to connect mobile phones to the Internet.

Not my quote, but I agree.

If your figures are correct and your need is such, why in the blazes are you fooling around with Dolphin which is essentially a PC script?

I don't try to get any of the seven-million apps at the app store to work on my PC.

Dolphin is a social networking script like facebook, twitter etc to create your online community. They all are pc based scripts but they modified them selves by launching apps according to the ease of users.

Windows 10 seem to think we want apps on our PC.

I prefer bookmarks and links to websites though; and when I use the phone, it's usually to call someone.

I must be getting old.

I've begged, begged & begged for this and tried my best to get boonex to understand the importance of REAL TIME communication.  It seems that boonex just doesnt "get it".  Im still lost as to what is so hard to understand about the fact that Real Time notifications triggers a real time response, and that equals more ACTIVITY!

This is the primary reason why the app market is accelerating at the rate that it is, because ppl want to be notified instantly, and not by manually checking and pressing the fucking refresh button on a website a million fucking times to be updated on a new comment.  The latter is backwards ass thinking for a technology advanced world in the NEW MOBILE era, and its here to stay!

2nd and main thing are notifications on mobile devices which keep any conversation/interaction running in real time. With out these functions dolphin is just another blogs/news/personal website.

On the other hand, its nice to know that Im not the only one who understand this basic & fundamental concept.  Just too bad that you aren't one of boonex dev's to force & jam this logic down their ears, throats & minds!

Applications will be history pretty soon, when people realize that visiting a responsive site on their phones is more convenience...

1- Apps drain your phone batteries like crazy

2- Notifications are getting annoying, 80% of the people using apps have the notifications turned off.

3- The fact that companies collect your information to display ads on those Apps is getting scary, I don't want anyone one to know my location, lol.

I'm pretty sure I'm missing some, but those are the reason I can think of.
