Hi
Hi I have some modification for dolphin. My website is 1circle.org While posting blog, writing news or articles, it is very difficult to insert photo/video there. To insert photo or video we have to upload via ftp and paste url there. It is really time taking. I have wp blog also. In that it is very easy to insert photo/video as either we can drag/drop/upload from desktop or insert source url, all the options are available.
Make such availability in dolphin also. Thanks

Have you looking into your account download? |
You could also use the video module to upload the video then use the provided embed code to post in your articles .... https://dolphin-techs.com - Skype: Dolphin Techs |
@dolphin_Jay Yes, I am doing that now but it is time taking and also if photo is relevant to my article/blog then it is unworthy uploading in photo/video album. |
Have you looking into your account download? hi It is not possible. I am using it since last five year and have been upgraded to 7.3.3 |
Moxie Manager is only available if you have a license for your Dolphin site; this was a requirement from the Moxie Manager people in order for Boonex to offer it to their users as an included module. If you don't have a license for your site, then you have to look at other options. For photos, you can use justboil.me but you will need something else for your videos. For YouTube and other video streaming sites, you can use an embed module that HL provided. Of course you will have to allow other embed sites which can be done through my white list method that I posted in the forums. Uploading an mp4 file should work as well if you enable the HTML5 module
There are open source third party file managers that allow upload of files, videos, and photos; some of them are a bit finicky to get to work with Dolphin. I did manage to get KCFinder to work with 7.1.6 but have not tried with newer versions of Dolphin; https://kcfinder.sunhater.com/ Geeks, making the world a better place |
If you go to https://www.boonex.com/downloads and go to the bottom of the blue download links, you will see MoxieManager module download there if you have a license. Now, if you have your own license for Moxie Manager and have been using MoxieManager before, then you are entitled to use Moxie Manager on your site. You can install it as you did before upgrading to 7.3.3; you will need to do a manual install instead of using the module method. Geeks, making the world a better place |
Thnaks a lot geek_girl and all of you. Yes, I have licensed version and I have already installed it. It is working fine. Thanks again. |
Thank you @geek_girl Walter - http://www.ForeignTeacher.com |
I have a doubt. Do we need to download this moxie- v.1.3.0 (as in downloads) and install as a module? Is it not part of dolphin 7.3.3 ? Thanks for posting this topic in forum.

Yes, you need download and install as a module. Walter - http://www.ForeignTeacher.com |

I have installed moxi manager but it does not seem to allow uploads of .MOV How do I address this? Nigel |
MoxieManaged doesn't convert videos, so only format which is playable in browse is allowed. I have installed moxi manager but it does not seem to allow uploads of .MOV
