Where can I add PRIVACY and Term of Use?

Hello,

Dear support team,

I wish to add PRIVACY and Term of Use on my site here: http://quebec411.ca

Where can I put those option, because I can't find anywhere in the admin section?

Thank you.

Admin -> Settings -> Language Settings

Do a search for them and then open up via Edit link and adjust them that way.

Actually wongchi, I'm running into the same problem here.  I have 4 other languages installed and also getting hit with an error when I try to add another language.  I checked my error logs and no luck.  So far, I've attempted this the following ways:

1.  Adding a new language Key in all languages simultaneously and it says can't add new language key.

2.  Tried adding a new language key to just one foreign (non-english) language at a time and it says can't add new language key.

3.  Tried adding a new language key for english and it worked.

4.  Checked permissions on the language files and they are set properly.  (same as the English Language)  langs/lang-en.php file & all the other lang files are set to trip 6

Reporting this to Boonex as it appears to be an issue with 616 that needs to be addressed since it's happening in the non-english languages only.

Hi Mydatery,

Add language, is not a problem, you just have to copy from english to any language

(ex.: spanish/ french) but, it not translate all the data for you. Which is my problem in nav link privacy ans term of use is empty! I wish to add that part! Have a nice day. Here my site: http://www.quebec411.ca

Take a look

Wongchi, I have it translated.  The issue is that I have far more on my site than the base dolphin.   I need to add a large number of additional language keys in the other languages and can't do it because it won't allow me to edit the additonals unless I go all the way into the DB Tables which is not a reasonable solution to this issue when Dolphin should have the ability to do this straight from it's Admin panel.

In addition, I can't expect the final end user of what's being built to do this either.  It is definitely an unreasonable expectation for this to  not be fully functional.  I'm thinking there is an issue or something was missed.

Your going to love this wongchi, it's been figured out.

1.  Find your Privacy/About Us/Terms of Service Language Key by doing a delete.

2.  Copy out the actual language key and paste it in an editor  (_About Us for example and make sure you get it exactly as it is.)

3.  Delete the Language Key.  Yes, you have to actually delete it from the system by hitting the delete button.

4.  Click Add A New Language Key

5.  Input the _About Us into the box that opens in the top field.

6.  Place each translation into the system.  This is the only way to do this, as when we have multiple languages if the language key was not copied over, then it will not appear like it should.  I know it sucks, but this is how we have to do it in D6.

I'm really hoping a better way of doing this can be found, because this is going to be extremely time consuming when you look at how many languages some of us are running.  And to think I'm going to consider installing even more languages.  NUTS!  Just friggin NUTS that it's this way Boonex!
