When member is deleted, does their groups, all go?

If a member creates a group, then leaves the site, is booted or deleted- does their created group(s) go? Can you set a new group admin? Does all of their uploaded content to the site go?  Thanks!

I am pretty sure it all goes with them. I know when I get a spammer I hit delete spam on there action block and all there stuff is gone too.

If you delete it yes.. If that group has been there for a good bit and gets submitted to the searches (like Google,Yahoo,MSN,ASK, ect). Then gets deleted it could hurt the SEO rankings by error fill not found. Then you will need to delist each URL by hand so the errors quit.

Thanks! Incidentally, how do you keep search engines from crawling parts of the site behid paywall or members only? I'm sure this is a setting, but out of curiosity...

You would have to set up your robot.txt file. Now not all bots will follow that and as well you do not want to put info out there that hackers know how to get.

Then the other way is also cpanel if your using that. You could always make up a new thread about best advice for search bots. Hope geek_girl and newton27 or even one of the other top members here can help you out on it.
