What is wrong with Dolphin lately?

If I recall, this is the third forum post where someone had Thing to disappear; which if this was the Adams family might be good; however, with Dolphin this is bad.  The first time we thought it might be server issues, now I am beginning to wonder.  How can Thing just disappear?

Only 3 out of how many people running dolphin?

I am still convinced it's either one of two things. Either a server problem, or user error and the file really is missing.

Server issues are the #1 cause of problems with dolphin.

Example. Godaddy shared, 1&1 and maybe others require a rewritebase be added to the .htaccess file or paths do not proper resolve and it causes errors such as this.

Unless the problem is reported by many as in the date of birth issue, then i have to always suspect server or user first. It's my nature as a developer.

I have been hosting on Godaddy from day one with Dolphin. I usually find it is something i did to screw something up.Like uploading or have a path wrong. Of course in the first round with Dolphin i did have a bit of trouble with their tech support

Yes, it could be server related.  Shared hosting companies often break things as they "play" around with settings.  Arivxe told me they were the cause of a problem with Dolphin due to some changes they made.  Therefore, one could have a site running along without a care in the world only to suddenly have Thing disappear due to some reason; such as a host blocking access to the file or removing it.  I put Dolphin on 1&1 just for a test and they deleted the files; no notice to me at all.

IF SOMEBODY CAN FIX THIS PLEASE LET ME KNOW, AND HOW MUCH YOU WILL CHARGE. I'VE BEEN VERY FRUSTRATING WITH THIS ERROR FOR SO LONG.

Meaning Godaddys tech support. Not dolphins.I just caught that.

Sorry about that i did not mean to imply it was the Boonex staff

I have a question that needs to be asked every single time a person is "missing" a file.

Is your Dolphin an "Auto Install" from the cPanel?

No sir. I manually installed it and it was working fine until the release of 7.1.  I suspect Boonex changed the coding so we have to upgrade to latest version of Boonex.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
