What happened to quite often updates rule? 7.2.2

When 7.2.2 coming out or will it going to be direct 7.3 update?

I hope Boonex does not do the every two weeks, or whatever, upgrade path.  Upgrade when it makes sense.  Do you realise the work involved for module developers to upgrade and test modules for new versions of Dolphin?  A too quick upgrade path for Dolphin could force some module developers  to say the hell with it.

7.2.2 would not be a major upgrade ya 7.3 might be. But I think 7.2 users wont have that much trouble in upgrading. Alex n anton are working very hard but my question is will the be able to compile that many ticket/issues for upgrade patch to work perfectly? More over more frequent updates keep boonex running financialy. Just my thoughts :)

Some website owners too.

I think regular minor updates can be a bad idea if you're constantly updating and not concentrating on the site itself. As with Windows, many of the updates may be of no concern to you. It would be helpful if Boonex told us what were major updates and what could be overlooked for the time being.

Maybe Boonex could take a leaf out of the WYSIWYG WebBuilder Site's books which has (in my opinion) the best update mechanism and best user forum on earth. That's a big call, but everything is documented. The forum is vetted by the site management and staff and "every" question is answered inside 24 hours. Ninety-percent of questions are initially answered by the staff or Pablo the man himself.

Many thanks to AlexT, Geek_Girl and Modzzz for a wonderful job. I haven't forgotten you here.

To beef off a little more, the program costs around 50 bucks, but it's payable with every major release, should you choose to upgrade. There are hundreds of brilliant extensions and all but a couple are "free".

Did I also mention that the free user guide is over 250 pages thick and the context sensitive help is mind-blowing.

Enough said. Here's how WebBuilder handles updates. Andrew, this may help you gain sales. It's part of their forum!

and what you see when you click an item:

I can only wish ;=)

I forgot to highlight this bit:

All the user has to do is update the modified file(s), which may be a few as "one".
