What do i need these mods for ?

Page Access Control version 1.0.8 by Boonex

1. Control access to pages, menu items, page blocks, etc. by membership level.
2. Allows you to send Dolphin emails from a SMTP server, with other options, such as attaching files to emails, and more.
3. Basically the equivalent of the Sites section here.  You can post links to sites with a description and thumbnail.
4. Allows you to add OpenSocial apps/widgets to your profile, but it's pretty useless.
5. Allows you to add your own RSS feeds to your profile.
6. This is for migrating data from a Dolphin 6.1.6 site to a Dolphin 7 site, as the name suggests.  Don't use this unless you're upgrading from Dolphin 6.1.6 to Dolphin 7 (you can't upgrade directly from the former to the latter).
7. An Adobe AIR app that lets you access some of the chat functions, and maybe some other things (it's been a while since I have used it).  It requires Adobe AIR and Adobe Flash Player.

I don't get this RSS with it is good for ?

You can display RSS feeds for sites you like on your profile.  It's not something I usually install.
