Wall posting and viewing problems

I have searched high and low but can't seem to work this out. I am new to this so please excuse my ignorance.

I have a wall block on my site and have opened 2 seperate accounts so that I can see if this works but I can only post things on my own wall.
I can't seem to see the wall of another person ( friend ) or indeed add to their wall with comments. I guess this is something I have not set right but could anyone please help me?

you do have to be "friends" with the members to show their postings

I have opened 2 accounts on my page and have linked the 2 as friends.

 I can see them as friends and if I put a blog on the site, I can see the blog. But for some unknown and highly annoying reason, I can't see the wall that a friend has or a comment on my wall from them.

All I can do is post on to my own wall (in either account) and see what I have writtern. I'm sure there is an easy reason to this but I have spent 2 days trying!

Weyhay! I cracked it. I had changed some of the things in the cpanel without realising it!
