WTH is going on here?

While I wasn't looking, one of my top menu links turned yellow.  Does anybody know what may have happened here?

someone must be accessing your .css perhaps. Try removing write permissions on the file.

seriously - do you think someone would really mess with HL's site.

come on - HL is one who knows about the css and how to keep others from hacking you - do you really think he would fall victim himself. I don't see it happening.

It's out of control.  Something is taking over my menu.

Well, whichever one of you guys is doing this, did you have to use Fuchsia?  That's not a very manly color.

I think it's over now.  I'm going to get to the bottom of this if it's the last thing I do.

Aw hell.... now the FAQ link on my top menu is dead.

By default the class for the <a tag is top_link. But his contains a second class which is the text of the link. So obviously he modified the top menu code to add that extra class.

I do something similar on my site, but i add a new class the the <td the link is contained in, and i use the database ID insead of the name. But the end results are the same. I can target each link with css.

Not really. That other post uses css attribute selectors. This method does not.
