Why would your customer's be getting worried? You shouldn't be telling your "customers" any specific time frame.

Prozac is soo 1990's!

Dont know why people are in such a rush for the RC1 D7, from what i gather reading around here, even when its released it will still be has buggy as the Beta's.

Sounds like the best version is the D6 and will be for a long time yet.

Simple, once the RC starts you can "patch" the script from one fix release to the next.  No more need to completely tear down your site and start over.

I think the bottom line is this.  As long as we work to let Boonex know about the problems we are having they will keep trying to fix them and when they feel it is stable enough to release they will do so.  I am a little disappointed that it has been over a week and they have not even alluded to when the next beta might be out.  But a good rule of thumb is don't tell your customers about any kind of timeline it just ends up getting egg on your face.  A standard line is we are working on it as best and as quickly as we can.  We don't want to rush out an inferior product early (refer to M$ for a good laugh).  We are all in the same boat and boy is it a rockin :P.

@Zarcon - what should he tell his customers - that they are stuck with the current version for all eternity? - or that in some distant future when the world is at peace, there will be a the most perfect social networking software mankind has ever seen?  I imagine most people here have discussed this situation with their customers, and probably they have shared some of the official information that has been released here - why wouldn't they?

AlexT commented RC1 will be released when the tickets in TRAC reach around 10.

If you look in TRAC Timeline, you will notice AlexT is packing RC1 now, should be a few hours away from release.

I have it on very good authority the D7 RC1 will almost certainly be availble on December 20, 2012.

Of course we will all be consumed by natural catastrophe's the very next day due to the planetary alignment .........
