W3C Validity?

Hi

I see 87 errors and 14 warnings when running a W3C validation check on a fresh installation of D7. Is this not a bit messy? I know my clients would want these fixed before they paid me for one of my sites...

Whats the score here? Not possible, or not thought about?

Many of these warnings/errors are hacks for old browsers.

CSS will be completely cleaned in future versions, since browsers evolutionized much last years and we don't need old hacks anymore..  I hope it will be done in 7.1: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/ticket/1643

W3C Validation. I personally prefer something that works on as many browsers as possible and worry less about what tests it passes.

Especially when one of the biggest players, Microsoft is constantly turning their nose up at standards.

I just think that some of the 'worries' that get posted here are kinda funny

Your "clients" couldn't possibly give a rat ass about W3C validity - they won't even know what it is.
