View member Profile, Edit Profile Membership

Hello,

I looked for the solution for this, but I may have missed it.  I found a post that was about 1000 days old sorta related to this but here I go.

I login to the site as admin

on the admin page

I select members

I select a member (any member, I have tested this on about 10 of them)

On the right hand site of the profile view of the member you have a box that is titled (Edit Profile Membership)

I select the membership and change it to the custom membership level I created for name, Then click Save

(I have done this with the "Starts immediately" check box selected and unselected.)

I get an error message at the top of the "Edit Profile Membership" box

The message is "Cannot update membership level. Please report."

I can not find any errors related to this.  I am using Dolphin 7.1

Is this logged somewhere I can start to trace the error?

Anyone know the cause?

Thanks,

Cory

Here is an update.  Not sure this is a bug, or user error.

It seems that you have to activate the user before you can change the membership level.

Also, once activated when you open a user profile it does not display the members current membership in the box on the right.  It always defaults to the standard membership.  So it was user error on that part.  Shouldn't this load with the members current memebership level?

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
