I think you need to be a little more specific in nature to what your problem is. It is slightly vague in nature, and in order for others to help a little more than:

my video chat page not show "my video box". It is flash problem or configuration problem

would be helpful?

Dolphin version, free or adfree chat, etc. Include as many details as possible.

Has there been a solution to this problem?

I have the same problem. I have no my video window showing and I don't have the icons next to the member's names in the lobby.

I have rays live camera hooked up and it shows my camera's input. But I don't have any video capabiity in chat and presence is just all screwed up. Loading forever.

Thanks

To have video options in chat you should have your dolphin (any, paid or free) any connected to RMS , otherwise you will have Ray Light mode (without video) + you must have camera of course :)

Ok. I'll stick to here for my replies and you can strike the other thread if you would ;)

The problem is that when I check on the rms box in the basic settings, I get a message that it "can't connect to rms"

Do I need port/socket information on it or something else?

For more fun reading, you can look here:

http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/forum/Dolphin-6.0.0004-0.htm#topic/Free-RMS-won-t-connect.htm

Just my observation, but if you use the Free Ray widgets and use the free RMS server, rms.boonex.com, you will never get video working.  I know I haven't, and others posting here have written the same thing.

So then it comes down to finding an RMS server that works.  I personally do not know of any free RMS servers out there (that support video), but it is likely ones do exist.  The alternative is to run your own RMS server using the Free RMS server that you can download.  Unfortunately my luck in using the Free RMS server has not been successful.

Sammie says she is running 6.1.4 dolphin and using the free RMS server v3.5.1 at ( http://www.girlscare.org/ ).  I have tested most of the functionality on her web site and it indeed functions as advertised.  Even with her help, I have not been able to crack the black-magic code of getting dolphin and my RMS server to talk.

I am still doing quite of bit a configuration modifications, and network package captures to try and understand why others along with myself are having so much difficulty getting dolphin to communicate with the free RMS server.

If you search through the forums it looks like people were more successful using olders versions of these products.  As I am a brand new to the land of dolphin I have only used version 6.1.4 and RMS server 3.5.1.

Sorry I can not provide a solution, but maybe at least given you hope.  You can check out Sammie's site if you want to see it in action.

Thanks for the input. I'm going to try the CybeXing path first. If that fails to produce results then I'll try an set up my own rms server.
