Videos module, missing player? 7.0.9

I set up a Centos 6 server at home for some development work. Everything appears to be in order as far as requirements etc & my d7.0.9 site appears fully functional, other than the video player.

Video uploading/processing works & the cron job is doing what it is supposed to (I've watched it complete the conversion on the uploaded videos). What is baffling me is that within the video view page, the video player is missing completely.

I've tried in all browsers with the same results. Anyone run into this before?

Got to ask question, did you install Java - openjdk-7-jdk

[edit] I've tried sever testing with Cent, always ran into problems.
